Activities of Foundation Ukraine in the third quarter of 2025<\/em><\/strong> (01 July 2025 \u2013 30 September 2025)<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The third quarter of 2025 was a time of constant movement for us \u2014 from daily consultations and meetings in Wroc\u0142aw to visits in towns across the region. Each day brought new conversations, questions, stories, and needs. During this period, we were able to support more than 12,000 people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of our activities \u2014 diverse in form yet united in purpose \u2014 shared one goal: to stay close and provide meaningful support that helps newly arrived migrants and refugees grow more confident, independent, and empowered in their new reality.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Information support provided by the Institute of Migrant Rights<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the third quarter of 2025, specialists from the Institute for Migrant Rights delivered over 6,200 consultations<\/strong>. Each one addressed specific needs \u2014 from residence and legal status issues, through family and employment matters, to urgent situations requiring immediate intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly 2,700 consultations<\/strong> were provided in person, primarily at information points of the Dolno\u015bl\u0105skie Centrum Kultury Polskiej in Wroc\u0142aw, Jelenia G\u00f3ra, Wa\u0142brzych, and Legnica, as well as in locations where access to support is more limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, we delivered almost 3,000 remote consultations<\/strong> \u2014 by phone, email, and social media \u2014 reaching people who were unable to seek assistance in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A particularly important role was played by legal consultations<\/strong>, of which there were 550<\/strong>. Each one contributed to greater security and clarity within complex administrative procedures.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fundraising activities<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the third quarter, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we raised over PLN 23,000<\/strong> in monetary donations. These funds were allocated to the ongoing statutory activities of Foundation Ukraine and to the organization of Skovoroda Fest<\/strong> \u2014 an event that brings communities and cultures together.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Non-project events \u2013 A time for meetings and integration<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The summer\u2013autumn period is traditionally rich in meetings, initiatives, and shared activities. The third quarter was no exception: we organized 104 non-project events<\/strong>, attended by nearly 4,000 participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We met regularly during language clubs \u2014 Polish, English, and Spanish Speaking Clubs<\/strong>. Across 51 meetings<\/strong>, approximately 900 people<\/strong> took part, combining language learning with conversation, relationship-building, and integration. Alongside these, we organized educational events, Cashflow development games, adaptation and integration meetings, as well as partner-led and cultural activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A highlight of this period was Skovoroda Fest<\/strong>, which brought together around 1,500 participants<\/strong> and became a true celebration of connection, dialogue, and diversity.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Project activities \u2013 Development and education for everyone<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the third quarter, our projects were filled with educational, informational, and creative activities addressed to children, young people, and adults alike<\/strong>. It was a time of intensive work, numerous meetings, and tangible support delivered across different parts of Lower Silesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the project \u201cProgram of Support for the Adaptation and Integration of Migrant and Refugee Communities in Lower Silesia \u2013 Navigate Poland: Migrant Assistance Program\u201d<\/strong>, we supported nearly 1,500 people<\/strong> in Lower Silesia through online and in-person informational and educational activities.Within this framework, we organized 33 webinars<\/strong> for approximately 1,100 participants<\/strong> and 30 group meetings<\/strong> held in 20 locations across 15 towns<\/strong>, reaching an additional 400 people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Support for children living in collective accommodation centers was one of the key elements of our work in the third quarter. With their well-being, development, and need for safe spaces for play and rest in mind, we conducted 13 developmental workshops<\/strong> in \u015awidnica, Legnica, and Szklarska Por\u0119ba. 53 children<\/strong> participated in these activities, which offered opportunities for learning, integration, and moments of respite from the everyday challenges of life in collective accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These activities were carried out as part of the project \u201cStrengthening the Protection and Well-being of Ukrainian Children with Refugee Experience and Their Caregivers in Collective Accommodation Centers\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Skovoroda Project<\/strong> was filled with diverse activities combining culture, language, and creativity. In total, we delivered 63 workshops and events<\/strong>, attended by 180 participants<\/strong>. These included literary workshops, Think&Play sessions for children, Skovoroda Sound vocal workshops for adults, and Lingua Fest language workshops.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We also continued the project \u201cTalking Heads of Generation Z\u201d<\/strong>, within which 25 film workshops<\/strong> were held. 51 young participants<\/strong> took part, developing their filmmaking skills and creating their own short film etudes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the \u201cLower Silesian Center of Polish Culture” <\/strong>project, we delivered 6 language courses<\/strong> in the third quarter for 91 participants<\/strong>. In total, this amounted to 226 hours of instruction<\/strong>, helping participants strengthen their language skills and gain greater confidence in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
