Up-to-date information, specific themes, answers to migrants’ questions, practical recommendations from experts – this is how every seminar of “Poland – is a place for me” looks like. This is a series of trainings, supporting migrants from third countries (outside of the EU) in adaptation, integration and development in Poland.

Legalisation of stay

During this section, our legal advisor will tell you about:

  • documents allowing to stay and work in Poland 
  • ways to get the needed permits and cards
  • procedures and journey of getting the citizenship
  • the legalisation of children’s stay

Employment

Legal advisor and a career counsellor will direct you in:

  • legal aspects, connected to migrants’ employment (civil code and employment law)
  • rights and obligations of employee/employer
  • methods and ways of looking for a legal job
  • CV, cover letter, recruitment interview
  • starting your own business

Everyday life inf

Trainings in this section will be helpful in learning about:

  • tax/educational systems
  • retirement and healthcare
  • the registration requirement
  • getting the PESEL and NIP numbers
  • housing purchase or rent
  • state holidays
  • marriage and childbirth for foreigners in RP

Cultural differences and traditional norms

In this block, we organise trainings which will help you understant:

  • rules of social coexistence
  • savoir-vivre in professional and private life
  • dress code

All trainings are conducted in Polish, but our volunteers at Foundation Ukraine will gladly translate you in Ukrainian, Russian or English. You just need to ask us 48 hours before the event by fami@fundacjaukraina.eu

Important!

Once filled form grants you the ability to participate in the seminars up to 2021! 

In the day of the seminar, we kindly ask you to come 30 minutes early in order to complete the registration process, we do not send confirmation by mail. Every participant needs to have his own travel document with him as well as a document confirming the legality of stay in Poland.
