As part of this project, Foundation Ukraine collects food packages, which are later delivered to the regions of Ukraine directly affected by the humanitarian crisis caused by ongoing Russia’s aggression.

The Help UA Package Project has been ongoing since July 2022. During this time, we have managed to send 7,291 food packages to 7,553 people.

Each food package contains: oil, flour, rice, pasta, canned meat, pâté, canned fish, tea, cookies, chocolate or jam, and oat flakes.

The cost of one food package is 55 PLN.

Project goals:

To send 10,000 food packages by March 2024.

To deliver food packages to 11 Ukrainian regions:

Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, and Lviv.

FAQ

Within the HELP UA PACKAGE project, Foundation  Ukraine collects food packages, which are later delivered to the cities of Ukraine affected by the russian aggression and where the humanitarian crisis is most acutely felt.

Is it possible to donate a food package?

Yes, you can prepare a package yourself. The collected food packages can be left at our Refugee Support Center, Wrocław Główny Railway Station, 105 Piłsudskiego Street.

What guarantees are there for the delivery of food packages to Ukraine?

You can review our reports from previous deliveries, confirming that the humanitarian aid we sent has reached its destination and has been delivered to recipients. For project partners, we can add a clause to the agreement as a guarantee that we commit to delivering humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Can partners and donors receive a report on the delivery of aid to Ukraine?

If you inform us in writing of the need for a photo or video report, we will send such a report via email. Upon request, we can also provide a protocol of receiving humanitarian aid.

What is the logistics of humanitarian cargo to Ukraine?

Food items are purchased in Poland, then packed and delivered to Ukraine by train or truck. The Ukrainian side accepts the cargo, signs the handover protocol, prepares and sends reports, and provides humanitarian assistance to those in need.
