The “Institutional Development Grant” project is implemented by Foundation Ukraine as part of the “Roots of the Future” programme of the PKO Bank Polski Foundation. The initiative marks an important step toward the organisation’s further development, as well as improving the quality and effectiveness of support provided to people with migration and refugee experience.
The project includes comprehensive activities aimed at the development and professionalisation of the Foundation Ukraine team, enabling the organisation to better respond to the needs of society and further expand its activities both regionally and nationwide.
Project objective
The aim of the project is to increase the efficiency and stability of Foundation Ukraine by:
- improving organisational management processes,
- implementing modern digital tools,
- developing the competencies of the team,
- increasing the transparency and quality of activities,
- strengthening the organisation’s communication and visual identity.
Main activities within the project
The project includes comprehensive activities supporting organisational development, including:
Strategic development
As part of the project, a new strategy for Foundation Ukraine for 2026–2028 will be developed, taking into account the changing needs of migrants and refugees, as well as new opportunities for organisational growth and funding.
Digitalisation and automation
The activities include:
- implementation of a project management system,
- introduction of electronic document workflow,
- implementation of an integrated HR and accounting system.
These new solutions will streamline the team’s daily work, increase the efficiency of project implementation, and improve the internal flow of information within the organisation.
Team competency development
The project includes a series of training sessions for Foundation Ukraine employees and collaborators in the areas of:
- monitoring and evaluation,
- time management,
- grant proposal writing,
- effective project work organisation.
Strengthening communication and organisational image
The project will also include activities related to the development of the organisation’s communication, including:
- development of Foundation Ukraine’s visual identity,
- launch of new communication channels, including Telegram,
- improvement of the quality of informational and promotional materials,
- increasing the accessibility and consistency of communication.
Team building
The project also includes integration activities and initiatives supporting team wellbeing, aimed at strengthening cooperation, communication, and organisational stability.
Expected project results
Thanks to the implementation of the project, Foundation Ukraine will:
- implement modern management and communication systems,
- increase the efficiency of project implementation,
- improve the quality of reporting and internal cooperation,
- strengthen team competencies,
- increase its visibility and effectiveness.
In the long term, the implementation of the project will enable even more effective support for people with migration and refugee experience, foster their integration and development in a new environment, and strengthen the organisation’s positive impact on society.
