Building connections, strengthening teamwork and supporting student well-being
How can we create a classroom where every student feels safe, accepted and free to be themselves? How can we encourage cooperation, mutual understanding and inclusion?
Ukraine Foundation invites schools across Lower Silesia to participate in free integration workshops designed to strengthen classroom relationships, build cohesive groups and develop students’ social and emotional skills.
The workshops are open to primary and secondary school classes, with particular emphasis on culturally and linguistically diverse groups. Sessions take place at participating schools or at the Lower Silesian Polish Culture Centres in Wrocław, Legnica, Jelenia Góra and Wałbrzych.

Integration workshops using the LEGO® Serious Play® method
Building stronger classroom communities through creativity and collaboration
Can building with LEGO® bricks help build stronger relationships? Absolutely!
During our workshops, we use the LEGO® Serious Play® method to help students express their ideas, share experiences, and find solutions together. Through team-building games and movement-based activities, we encourage better communication, cooperation, and trust within the class. We explore what is already working well and what could be improved, while reflecting on how relationships between classmates develop.
Over the course of three sessions, students identify their class’s strengths, recognise challenges in their relationships, and develop a shared action plan for building a more connected and inclusive class community, which they can then put into practice at school.

Developing teamwork, communication and trust through shared activities

Movement and play are natural ways to connect with others. These workshops use team games, physical activities and interactive exercises to help students get to know one another, cooperate more effectively and build mutual trust.
Students also reflect on classroom dynamics, recognise their group’s strengths and identify ways to make everyone feel more included.
