The second quarter of 2025 was marked by intensive work and tangible results. During this time, nearly 14,000 people received support – a real change that helps build a safer everyday life.

Our activities followed many directions – from direct support in local communities to initiatives implemented in cooperation with international partners.

Project Activities

In the second quarter, we simultaneously implemented 11 key projects – both international and local – providing support in the areas of education, personal and professional development, from youth to seniors:

Thanks to joint projects with Save the Children Poland, we supported over 2,200 children, youth, and their families with refugee and migration experience:

  • Over 1,500 students took part in Sports and Culture Days led by our intercultural assistants in Wrocław, Legnica, Bielawa, and Jelcz-Laskowice.
  • Over 580 children and parents received educational and integration support from cultural assistants in 38 schools across Lower Silesia.
  • 124 children and students participated in 109 developmental sessions under the HEART & Team Up programs held in Wrocław, Legnica, Świdnica, and Bielawa.

In cooperation with International Rescue Committee Poland, we provided information and knowledge support to over 1,500 people through various forms – from webinars and field trainings in collective accommodation centers (where access to information is limited) to meetings in CUKR, post-secondary schools, the University of Wrocław, language courses, the Red Cross, and Ptach Foundation.

Our specialists delivered:

  • 20 online webinars – attended by 646 participants;
  • 11 field visits to 18 towns – reaching 338 people;
  • 20 community meetings – attended by 521 participants.

Over 5,500 beneficiaries received support within the “Lower Silesian Center of Polish Culture” project, including around 5,300 people who benefited from legal and informational consultations provided by specialists from our Institute for Migrant Law.

In the second quarter, IPM consultants also assisted with residence procedures, offered advice on family and employment matters, and ensured that every phone call, email, or social media message received a quick and helpful response 🤝

We delivered:

  • 2,150 in-person consultations in info points in Wrocław, Jelenia Góra, and Wałbrzych;
  • 230 outreach consultations in accommodation centers;
  • Almost 2,860 remote consultations via email, phone, and social media;
  • About 260 legal consultations in Wrocław, Jelenia Góra, and Wałbrzych.

About 160 children took part in 24 intercultural class workshops using the Lego® Serious Play® method, building bridges of understanding through creative play.

62 people completed Polish language courses, helping them integrate better into the community and feel more confident in daily life and work.

Under the “Economic Support Program for Ukrainian Refugees in Lower Silesia”, over 150 people participated in various forms of professional and entrepreneurial development:

  • 55 participants joined 3 trainings and workshops
  • 54 people took part in 74 hours of career counseling and profiling
  • 32 participants attended 32 hours of business mentoring
  • 11 people completed professional courses and received certificates

Some activities only started in the second quarter but are already showing promising results – we can’t wait to share more progress in the coming months! For now, here’s how they began:

In the UNICEF project, over 30 participants – children and youth aged 10–13 and 14–20 from Wrocław, Lublin, Świdnica, Legnica, Kraków, Poznań, and Jelenia Góra – took part in:

  • 9 individual interviews (9 participants)
  • 4 focus groups (5–10 participants each)

The Skovoroda project launched with a series of language and cultural workshops “LinguaFest”, attended by 26 people.

In the Talking Heads project, the first group of 12 young people began their film adventure – with 4 educational sessions held during the first block.

Each project is a step forward – and you’ve taken it with us!

Non-project Activities

Within our non-project initiatives organized together with our volunteers, we engaged over 4,500 participants, conducting more than 150 educational, cultural, and entertainment events!

  • Around 1,400 people joined 64 meetings of our language clubs: Polish Speaking Club, English Speaking Club, and Spanish Speaking Club, integrating and learning from each other.
  • Over 3,100 participants took part in 87 educational, cultural, and integration events – from Cashflow Club meetings and board game nights to quizzes, stand-ups, and concerts.

Here, everyone learned from one another – expanding their cultural experience and horizons!

Advocacy & Outreach Activities

In the second quarter, our experts actively represented the topic of intercultural assistants and the impact of integration in key decision-making bodies.
We participated in 6 important advocacy initiatives and 2 educational trips, working to create real changes in migration and education policy.

Highlights include:

  • Participation in the 29th and 31st sessions of the Coalition for Intercultural and Roma Assistants in Warsaw, developing recommendations for their employment and support.
  • Conducting a webinar for school principals: “How to Hire an Intercultural Assistant in the ‘School for All’ Program”, sharing practical tips and best practices.
  • Together with Save the Children Poland, we produced a short film about the role of intercultural assistants, showcasing their work to a wider audience.
  • Giving an interview for Radio Agora, highlighting the importance of assistants in schools and communities.
  • Organizing two educational visits to collective accommodation centers in Legnica and Duszniki-Zdrój, engaging 27 participants and building intercultural bridges.

Through these actions, we strengthen and represent the voices of migrants in key discussions on integration and social policy

For every smile, every act of support, and every new opportunity – we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
