A language is one of the key integrational elements in the new society.
We use it for communication, expressing our opinion, discussing and having a dialogue with another person.
Not to mention the fact, that due to the number of ratings, the Polish language is one of the most difficult languages to learn in the world. Conjugations, difficult pronunciation complicated grammar, “Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz” – all of these things make it harder for foreigners to learn.
However, Foundation Ukraine is not afraid of challenges and helps new citizens of Wrocław to fix “stół z powyłamywanymi nogami”.
On the 9th of August new participants of the language course “Let’s mów” have started their language adventure. This cycle is extremely intensive because classes are taught 3 times a week for 4 hours each! Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in CUKR have a nice atmosphere of a school!
During the project, starting from April 2018, around 150 people took part in courses!
Why are they so popular? Why these courses are so unique?
First and foremost, the price! Thanks to the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and state budget the price for the whole course of 128 hours is only 384 zlotys. Moreover, the price of the course includes the price for the coursebooks, stationery(notebook, folder, highlighters) and some snacks for participants. One hour costs only 3 zlotys! Hard to believe, right?
What is more, after finishing the course, half of the participants can get the opportunity to write an official exam of Polish as a foreign language and get the certificate approved by the Polish National Commission for Certifying the Knowledge of Polish as a Foreign Language absolutely for free!
And finally, teachers of the language courses “Let’s mów” are enthusiasts with more than 10 years’ experience. Their main task is not just explaining the basics of grammar for the participants, but also broaden their vocabulary, presenting diverse, full of synonyms Polish language!
