Finally, we can share memories about the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine. On the 22nd and 23rd of August, Foundation Ukraine has organized the two-day festival “Skovoroda Fest”. Ukrainian and Polish musicians have met on one stage to celebrate with the Ukrainian minority. See how it was!
Skovoroda Fest – Independence festival
The festival Skovoroda Fest was held on August 22-23 within the framework of every year’s Independence Day of Ukraine. Skovoroda Fest became an occasion of intercultural integration of the citizens of Wroclaw, presentation of modern Ukrainian culture, cultural and artistic initiatives that actively appear in Wroclaw.
August 22 – Concert day
The first time this year, the celebration was organized in the form of a modern two-day festival. The first concert day was held in the courtyard of 46ABC Ruska street, where such bands as “Vymyraiuchi Vydy”, “Hetane” and “Kadabra dyskety kusaje” have presented their music.
August 23 – Family day
The second day of the festival was organized for families. In Staszica Park, Ukrainians and Poles had the opportunity to take part in integrational workshops for adults and kids, in the artistic doll fairy tale and Zumba dance. In the framework of the festival, young modern artists have also presented their masterpieces.
