Multicultural family picnic in South Park__

Multicultural family integration outdoors in a green park with creative workshops and language classes – what could be better?

We invite all participants of the Summer Polish Language Course for Children and all residents of Wrocław to participate in the Multicultural Family Picnic on August 24 from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m. in South Park

This is a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends outdoors, to develop children’s artistic and creative skills, to participate in fun activities in the park (frisbee, tennis, ball games), to learn more about the cultures of foreign residents Wroclaw,  to improve your foreign language skills and to find new friends and just relax.

Plan of the event:

  1. Information point for picnic guests (here you can find out what the fun is at the picnic, get a certificate for the completion of the children’s course, learn about the activities of Foundation Ukraine) – 11: 00-16: 00
  2. Equipment rental (balls, frisbee, tennis rackets, etc.) 11: 00-16: 00
  3. City game for children “Green hat”, organized by the partner of the event – Wroclaw City Library – from 11:00 to 14:00 (last game ends at 15:00)
  4. Language Island – Language Speaking Clubs for children and adults
    1. English Speaking Club – 12 a.m. – 1 p.m.d
    2. Toastmasters in Ukrainian – 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
  5. Art Island for Children:
    1. Wreath weaving –  2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. 14:30 – 16:00
    2. Coal drawing – 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
    3. Hand made masterclasses – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  6. Animations for children – 11 a.m – 3 p.m/
  7. Multicultural island – presentation of different cultures of national minorities living in Wroclaw 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
  8. Exhibition of original handmade dolls – 11 a.m. -4 p.m.

Free entrance. We advise you to bring plaids and food with you.

The event is being held during the celebration of Independence Day of Ukraine in Wroclaw. In the evening, Ukrainians and other Wroclawians will celebrate the 29th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine on the Boulevard of the Rector, Stanislav Kulchinsky.

Among other things, the program includes concerts of contemporary, folk and classical Ukrainian music, food tapes and laser tag.
