Volunteers for the one year project European Solidarity Corps “For YOUnity” WANTED!__

Fundacja Ukraina in Wroclaw looking for volunteers for the one year project European Solidarity Corps “For YOUnity. The project involves 3 volunteers. Volunteers will be involved to work in Advertising Department, Event Organization/Management Department and Info Center. Below there are written the main tasks of volunteers in different departments. Please read the requirements carefully and state in which department you are submitting your application.

Volunteer for Advertising Department

The main tasks of the volunteer:

• assistance in preparation of photo/video materials;
• assistance in writing texts for the needs of the department;
• assistance in content preparation for social media and for the web-site of foundation;
• administrative and technical work support of the Center;
• implementation of own initiatives and projects;
• assistance in the implementation of Foundation’s projects.

Volunteer for Event Organization/Management Department

The main tasks of the volunteer:

• assistance in planning and conducting integrational, informational and cultural events in CUKR;
• assistance in the organization of speaking clubs and language courses;
• assistance in the preparation of thematic events;
• administrative and technical work support of the Center;
• implementation of own initiatives and projects;
• assistance in the implementation of Foundation’s projects.

Volunteer for Info Center

The main tasks of the volunteer:

• giving consultations in the InfoPoint (after the training);
• preparing informational materials;
• administrating and giving technical support of the Center;
• implementing your ideas and projects;
• helping with the other projects of Fundacja Ukraina.

In the project we provide you:

• Apartment;
• Food;
• Transport (local transport, travel costs to/from Wroclaw);
• Insurance;
• Pocket money;
• Courses of the Polish language.

The volunteers should have:

• Motivation to develop intercultural skills;
• Willingness to communicate and work with people;
• Ability to talk in English, Polish or Ukrainian (if you are Beginner we can help you to improve your language skills);
• Responsibility and punctuality;
• Ready to work independently and in a group;
• Sense of humor.

Due to the project’s requirements, the volunteer should be aged 18-30.
