The Foundation Ukraine is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of April 4, 2019, on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. Complaint and appeal procedure
Under the law, everyone has the right to request the provision of digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or its element. You can also request the provision of information through an alternative means of access, such as reading a digitally inaccessible document.
The request must include:
- Contact details of the person making the request,
- Indication of the page or element of the page to which the request relates,
- Indication of a convenient form for providing information if the request concerns providing inaccessible information in an alternative form.
The request should be processed promptly, no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to provide accessibility or access in an alternative form within this period, it should be done no later than 2 months from the date of the request. If these deadlines are not met, or if the request is denied, a complaint can be filed with the supervisory body by mail or electronically at the following address:

Architectural Accessibility Description
The Foundation’s Ukraine office is located at Ruska 46A Str. in Wrocław on the 2nd floor. There are two rooms belonging to the Foundation Ukraine where public services are provided: the Ukrainian Cultural and Development Center (CUKR) – room 201 and the Institute of Migrant Rights (IPM) – room 202.
The Foundation Ukraine ensures that the building meets the architectural accessibility requirements, allowing people with special needs to access the space and services freely.
- Communication spaces (both horizontal and vertical) in the building are barrier-free, making it easy for people in wheelchairs, older individuals, and caregivers with strollers to move around.
- The building is equipped with an elevator located in the courtyard at street level, next to the traditional entrance. The elevator is designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities – it is wide enough to accommodate a person in a wheelchair or a caregiver with a stroller, and it is also equipped with Braille on the buttons and voice announcements indicating the current floor level.
- The elevator provides direct access to the second floor, where the IPM office (room 202) is located. Further rooms are accessible from the second entrance to CUKR (room 201), which leads from the stairwell. For people in wheelchairs, there is a stair lift that allows them to overcome two steps between the IPM office and the main part of CUKR.
Sanitary Facilities
- The toilet adapted for people with disabilities is equipped with doors wider than 90 cm and maneuvering space of 150 cm x 150 cm. The toilet has handrails to assist people in wheelchairs or older individuals, and all equipment (toilet, sink, mirror, hand dryer) is installed at an appropriate height.
Space Amenities
- The corridors leading to the CUKR rooms are sufficiently wide (min. 1.5 m), allowing free movement for people with disabilities. The space is designed with contrast, and the stairs are marked with yellow-black tape for better visibility.
- Handrails on the stairwell provide support for older people and individuals with mobility difficulties.
Informational and Communication Accessibility
- Foundation Ukraine offers assistance from an assistant for blind or visually impaired individuals, who will help them move around the building if necessary.
- There is no possibility to use a sign language interpreter on-site. However, upon request from visitors, assistance from the Wrocław Deaf Association “Nadzieja,” located in the same building, can be arranged.
- The Foundation ensures communication in the preferred form for people with disabilities – by email, SMS, phone, or in writing.
Other Information and Statements
- People with disabilities can enter the building with an assistance dog or guide dog.
- The building does not have parking spaces.
