Key Project Activities:
The Work Without Borders project is implemented by Foundation Ukraine and the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Labour Office from August 2022 to December 2023 in the Lower Silesia region, mainly in Wrocław, as well as in Jelenia Góra, Legnica, and Wałbrzych.
The project is aimed at third-country nationals legally residing in Poland, including at least 50% citizens of Ukraine, who were forced to flee the country and moved to Poland after 24th February 2022 due to the russian aggression against Ukraine and are in particularly difficult life situations.
Due to the socio-political situation resulting from the armed conflict in Ukraine, migration movements to Poland mainly concern women and children. Therefore, it is assumed that the project participants will largely be women – foreign nationals, mothers of preschool and school-aged children, who will be provided with childcare during project activities.
The main project objectives include the following forms of support for migrants:
- Vocational counseling;
- Training, courses, workshops;
- Individual consultations with a lawyer, career advisor, or entrepreneurship specialist;
- Vocational profiling;
- Vocational activation through conducting training, skills voucher programs, providing career counseling on CV creation, improving skills, and job searching.
Project participants will be able to benefit from one or several forms of support.
THE PROJECT WAS FINANCED BY THE LABOUR RESERVE FUND. Integration of foreigners in the labor market and society within the “Together We Can Achieve More – First Edition of the Activation Program for Foreigners for the years 2022 – 2023” Program.
